In this article blog post I’m going to try to explain about some of the unspoken and spoken rules of blogging and commenting on blogs, or better known as ‘blog etiquette’.
I know that many people out there have blogs, or like to read and comment on blogs. And that many of you may be very good at what you do. But I’m going to talk to those of you that are not that good, have learned from the wrong people or wrong software trainings, and/or those of you who may just be ignorant to blog etiquette. Now understand that when I say ignorant, I do not mean dumb or stupid. I mean, lacking the proper knowledge or information, to make the correct decision.
First, let me discuss commenting on blogs. Commenting on blogs is a great way to connect with people and to create back links to your own sites. But when you are leaving a comment you need to use your real name, and not a title to a blog or what you are trying to sell. besides, you should be trying to sell yourself and not your product.
So if your name is Suzy Que then you need to use Suzy Que. And if your name is Joe Blow, then you need to use Joe Blow as your name. You should NEVER use names like; Male Enhancement, Government Grants, Sex Videos, Blogging Software, or any other title that is not your name. I think that you get my point.
Many blog are set up so that you have to enter your website link before the body of the comment, that will lead people and back-links to your product and/or website. There are many times that I would like to approve people’s comments, and I did at first, but cannot because their name is not there proper name. So I am no longer approving comments where people have not used their real or proper name.
Another thing I’d like to point out, is to be sure that the comment makes sense to the topic/post that you are commenting about. I can always tell when someone is doing a copy & paste with their blog comment or is using a software to make dozens upon dozens of comment posts because they are all the same or make no sense.
For example if I get comments on my ‘About’ page (which I blocked now), that state how this content really helped them to build their business or take it to the next level,…then I know that it was done by a software tool, or it was posted without reading because it makes no sense. Plus if the comment was posted by some software tool, then I will probably get 10-200 of the exact same comments. And yes, I have gotten 250+ comments in 1 day, all saying the same thing.
Lastly, I’d like to talk about using links, or hyperlinks in the body of your blog comment. NEVER DO IT!! If you do, your comments will never get approved by top bloggers and you have just wasted your time and efforts. Your comments will just be deleted! Besides that is not personable and you cannot build relationships that way.
I know that this only covered a few blog etiquette’s, but I hope this helps you better understand what to do, and what not to do when commenting on blogs. If this article blog post has helped you, please ‘Retweet’ it or ‘Share’ it on Facebook.

I came across a blog post tonight
I have been asked a lot lately, how I uploaded YouTube videos to my Facebook Pages. So to make things easier in the future, I decided to just write an article post
If you’ve ever experienced a site or computer crash, then you know how much of a nightmare it can be. But imagine how much worse it would be if you had forgotten to backup your information and you lose months, or even years of work. Don’t make her mistake!
