Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 Part 2Continuation Part 2 – ‘Small Business Jobs Act of 2010′

Health Care Insurance

Another feature of this bill includes the ability to deduct the cost of HEALTH CARE INSURANCE for the Self Employed person and his/her family…as an Ordinary and Necessary BUSINESS EXPENSE…for Tax Year ending 12/31/2010.

So…IF you had $10,000 of Start up Costs and $7,500.00 of Health Insurance Costs…you are likely eligible for a $17,500.00 “expense” on just TWO lines of the Schedule C! If you are in the 35% Tax Bracket this year, this “deduction” would save you over SIX THOUSAND BUCKS IN TAXES!

Remember…EVEN IF you had not a DIME of “income” from your business this year (and only had the $17,500.00 worth of expenses!), you can still use the deduction to offset the TAXABLE PORTION of your income from ALL OTHER SOURCES…INCLUDING W-2 income, Interest Income, Partnership or Dividend Income Net Rental Income, Unemployment Income, and/or taxable Social Security Income! Virtually ANY other taxable income!

Moreover…don’t forget that ALL expenses related to the ON-GOING operating OF the business are deductible as well.

Please talk with your tax person. Don’t miss these very important and valuable Business Deductions.

Now that you have the all the information on the ‘Small Business Jobs Act of 2010‘, you should have a better understanding on how to save yourself some money. If you found this post useful, please ‘Retweet’ it & ‘Share’ it.

Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 Part 1

Due to the economic U.S. situation, many people are pondering starting a home business?? So let me help you out a bit and explain why a person would, of course, WANT to start a home business. In this article blog post I will explain about the benefits of having a home business as it relates to your taxes via the  New Small Business Jobs Act 2010 That Puts More Capital in the Hands of Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners…

Small Business Jobs Act of 2010

A. September 27, 2010

On this date, President Obama signed a package of enhanced business tax incentives into law, as part of a larger Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. ONE of the things it allows is that START UP COSTS…up to $10,000.00 can be EXPENSED 100% for new businesses that ‘started’ in 2010!

Generally Start Up Costs are expenses one incurs BEFORE actually opening the doors of a new business!

Maybe you hooked up w/a new nutritional products business and encountered a BUNCH of expenses BEFORE you actually STARTED “WORKING” the business…as a “business”! Stuff you did to “get ready to roll”!

Maybe you just signed up this month! And are in the process of preparing to attack the market full bore after the 1st of the January!

Startup expenses are things associated with setting up your business. Among the items that count as startup expenses:

o        Paying for consultants & other Professional Fees (Someone to Help Set Up Records, coach you on tax issues related to small business, etc)

o        Initial “Sign Up” Fees

o        Buying initial supplies (Including, but not limited to Extra Product {to use as Samples, Displays, Promotional Gifts}, Starter Packs, Ad Packs, Additional MAP-Books, Branded Apparel, and other Marketing Tools)

o        Advertising materials for your new business (Business Cards & Stationery)

o        Paying employees before the business opens (Even the KIDS)

o        Office Expenses (Furniture, Computer/Printer-Fax-Scanner along with supplies for them, Laptop, Internet connection, Decorating/Remodeling the “new” office, New Digital Overhead Projector & Accessories, Subscriptions to “Virtual” online services related to your business, etc)

o        New Cell Phones

o        Signage for the vehicles

o        Seminars and Workshops attended BEFORE you “signed up”, INCLUDING travel to and from them. (Mileage, Air Fares, Taxi Fees, etc.)

You can “plug” the TOTAL of ALL these Costs in as “Initial Startup Costs” on the “Other Deductions” portion of your Schedule C Tax Form!

In Part 2, I will explain about the benefits of the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 as it relates to Health Care Insurance.

Blog Etiquette

  • Posted on January 3, 2011 at 4:02 pm

Blog EtiquetteIn this article blog post I’m going to try to explain about some of the unspoken and spoken rules of blogging and commenting on blogs, or better known as ‘blog etiquette’.

I know that many people out there have blogs, or like to read and comment on blogs. And that many of you may be very good at what you do. But I’m going to talk to those of you that are not that good, have learned from the wrong people or wrong software trainings, and/or those of you who may just be ignorant to blog etiquette. Now understand that when I say ignorant, I do not mean dumb or stupid. I mean, lacking the proper knowledge or information, to make the correct decision.

First, let me discuss commenting on blogs. Commenting on blogs is a great way to connect with people and to create back links to your own sites. But when you are leaving a comment you need to use your real name, and not a title to a blog or what you are trying to sell. besides, you should be trying to sell yourself and not your product.

So if your name is Suzy Que then you need to use Suzy Que. And if your name is Joe Blow, then you need to use Joe Blow as your name. You should NEVER use names like; Male Enhancement, Government Grants, Sex Videos, Blogging Software, or any other title that is not your name. I think that you get my point.

Many blog are set up so that you have to enter your website link before the body of the comment, that will lead people and back-links to your product and/or website. There are many times that I would like to approve people’s comments, and I did at first, but cannot because their name is not there proper name. So I am no longer approving comments where people have not used their real or proper name.

Another thing I’d like to point out, is to be sure that the comment makes sense to the topic/post that you are commenting about. I can always tell when someone is doing a copy & paste with their blog comment or is using a software to make dozens upon dozens of comment posts because they are all the same or make no sense.

For example if I get comments on my ‘About’ page (which I blocked now), that state how this content really helped them to build their business or take it to the next level,…then I know that it was done by a software tool, or it was posted without reading because it makes no sense. Plus if the comment was posted by some software tool, then I will probably get 10-200 of the exact same comments. And yes, I have gotten 250+ comments in 1 day, all saying the same thing.

Lastly, I’d like to talk about using links, or hyperlinks in the body of your blog comment. NEVER DO IT!! If you do, your comments will never get approved by top bloggers and you have just wasted your time and efforts. Your comments will just be deleted! Besides that is not personable and you cannot build relationships that way.

I know that this only covered a few blog etiquette’s, but I hope this helps you better understand what to do, and what not to do when commenting on blogs. If this article blog post has helped you, please ‘Retweet’ it or ‘Share’ it on Facebook.

Why Use the F.O.R.M. Method When Talking To Prospects

  • Posted on December 27, 2010 at 2:28 pm

Why Use the F.O.R.M. Method When Talking To ProspectsI know many people absolutely dread talking to prospects, especially on the phone. Much of this reason is due to lack of confidence and not knowing what to say to prospects. There are many other reasons that people fail when talking with prospects. In this article blog post I will explain about how using the F.O.R.M. method will help you increase your prospecting recruitment into distributors.

Have you ever struggled to pick up the dreaded phone to call a prospect? Have you struggled getting other team members to call their prospects? That’s because for some reason they fear the dreaded phone calls that you &/or they must make. Not many people are born natural recruiters and therefore dread having to do so.

One of the reasons that people hate and dread prospecting is that they simply do NOT know what to say or how to deal with objections or questions. Prospecting is a learned skill which like many other learned skills, takes time to develop.

But this simple little F.O.R.M. formula will help you take potential prospects guards down, learn information about your possible recruit that may actually assist you in recruiting this prospect, and help you build an actual relationship with that prospect. While at the same time, greatly increasing your team members by recruiting those very same prospects!

The formula used to do this is called the F.O.R.M. method. And I know some of you may know and use this formula, but many of you may not. So I’m specifically speaking to those of you who have not.

What does the F.O.R.M. method stand for? It’s a simple formula method that helps you remember how to approach potential recruits when prospecting:

F = Family

O = Occupation

R = Recreation

M = Message

If you can remember this simple formula you will greatly decrease your prospects guard, and increase your recruiting. Simply put, you are getting to know more about your potential prospect, so you can better understand their wants and needs.

So you first ask them questions about their family; how many children, how old their children are, are they married, etc?

Then ask about their occupation; if they are employed (due to economy this is a pertinent question), where they work, what do they like about their job, what do they not like about their job, etc?

Then ask about their recreation activities; what they like to do for fun or to relax, what hobbies do they have, do they like to travel, how active they are, etc?

And lastly the message, which only applies to those that qualify or people that they know that may qualify. The message is simply, about what you do, and who you are looking for. So I may say something like this: I know that you work as a _____ and this may or may not be for you. But I help people earn an extra income from home in a way that doesn’t interfere with what they are already doing. My company is very successful at teaching others how to generate extra income from home. Again, this may or may not be for you, but if you would like I can give you a website address where you can get some more information. That website address is ________. You noticed that I didn’t really make that a question, as much a statement.

Now if they are very happy and not looking for anything else than you have weeded them out, but can get a referral from them, so don’t waste your efforts thus far. I would say something like: I know that you are very happy being a garbage disposal person and that this is not for you, but do you happen to know anyone that might be interested in an opportunity like this and generating extra money from home, or have lost their job and are maybe looking to replace their income?

You would be amazed at how many referrals that you will get, just for simply asking after having built a rapport with that person or potential prospect. Not only that, but you will also see an increase in your recruiting efforts because you have built a relationship with that person.

Be sure to write down what they say, because you never know how many will call you back later asking more questions, or looking to join your opportunity. When you can reply to them with; Oh hi _____, how is little Johnny doing in hockey? They will be amazed at the level of your people skills and feel very comfortable joining your team!

I know that this was a bit longer post, but I know that these simple steps will help you increase your business if used when talking to prospects. If you have found this post useful, please Share it or Retweet it.

Twitter Training Tips-Day Nine

Twitter Training Tips Day NineAs many of you may know, Twitter has become a very large social media platform in the past year and half. A matter of fact maybe too big for many of its users.

Why do I say too big?

Because Twitter has become too ‘noisy’ for marketers who want to get their products and services out there, and bombards the average user with links of all forms.

So how can an marketer make his or her mark on Twitter and still turn a profit or find new team members? What if you are new to working online and don’t even know what Twitter is or how to use it?

There are many questions floating about with the emergence of all the new home businesses due to economic conditions, and I decided to create some answers.

So I created a training video about Twitter for our Christmas blog for all to see. So as my part in the Christmas blog and my gift to you…

visit: “The Ninth Day Of Christmas – Twitter Tips” – http://mlmchristmascarol.com/the-ninth-day-of-christmas-twitter-tips/

Enjoy! I know this Twitter training will help you.

Take Control Of Your Financial Future

  • Posted on December 2, 2010 at 12:47 pm

Take Control Of Your Financial FutureI know that with the onset of the Holidays, especially Thanksgiving, people start to reflect on the past year and what they are thankful for. But for the past couple of years, that is not the case for many.  There is a very distinct change in the social economic climate.

Think about it for a minute. How many conversations have you been in, or overheard where people are complaining about how bad the economy is, how they can’t find a job, and how the government isn’t helping out the average person but is bailing out big money and dropping the bill unto the taxpayers?  You can hardly go anywhere without hearing somebody complaining about the present state of the economy and their personal situations.

Some states like Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, New York and California have been hit harder than others, and the financial devastation is much worse in those states. I know, as I live in Michigan and have seen this first hand!

The sad part about all of this is that people really honestly believe that there is nothing that they can do about their present or future financial situation. People are actually sitting back infested with self-pity and sorrow like an animal resolved to its demise.

I understand the place they are at mentally, since I was there once myself.  The difference is, I decided to take control of my life and financial future; I shut up, stepped up, took responsibility, and did something about it.

It is a mental mindset place.  You choose to either be in that ‘bad’ place, or go forward, driven and determined, in a much better mental place.  You choose to either change your present situation…or do nothing and remain in that same position a year or two from now.

I guarantee you that if you choose to do nothing, then nothing will change!  There will be no government bailout to fix your financial woes.  You are on your own, and you need to face that fact.

I hear people say that it’s not that simple.

But I say it is just that simple!

I’ve seen it dozens, upon dozens of times and I have personally done it! What I’m thankful for is the fact that I have a roof over my head, the great friends that I have acquired working online, and the fact that I’m well on my way to a great financial future.

So in closing let me just say this to anyone reading this article blog post.  I and many others, teach people how to successfully work from home.  We guide, teach, and coach people to success.  So decide if you’re ready to take control of your own financial future.

It’s Your Time For Success!

Traffic Cipher How To Crack The Code Part 1

They cracked it!

It’s been done! After years of marketers and traffic experts trying to decipher the Google algorithm, my friends (Ray & Ferny) have finally done it!

Two geeks (friends of mine) have figured out the exact steps to unlocking free traffic from Google – it’s fast, easy and duplicatable.

Traffic Cipher How To Crack The Code Part 1Ray and Ferny have been studying SEO and Google for over 4 years now and a few months ago, they started noticing a pattern. Out of all the possible SEO factors which supposedly influence who Google chooses to rank, they found a handful that has the MOST impact.
In fact, when they ONLY follow these very simple and easy steps, (ignore everything else), top 10 rankings on Google were theirs within days, in many cases.
That basically means free traffic and leads on demand for their businesses.

They call these sequence of simple and easy steps, “The Traffic Cipher”.

Click Here to Download the ‘Traffic Cipher Special Report’ Revealing Their Findings:

Traffic Cipher

I suggest you follow what they say, because no one else in our industry is doing this.

Plus the traffic is free (put your wallet away), easy (a caveman can do it) and fast (rank on Google within days).

Stay tuned for part 2 later today!

Frank Kern’s 3 Magic Bullets Of Money-Getting

  • Posted on October 5, 2010 at 8:07 pm

Frank Kerns 3 Magic Bullets Of Money GettingI came across a blog post tonight (Ty Tribble) that talked about Frank Kern’s PDF – The Three Magic Bullets Of Money-Getting. Yes, you read that right…Money-Getting. I’ll briefly explain what He means by Money-Getting in this article post below.

Now if your any kind of a true Internet Marketer then you inevitably know who Frank Kern is. If not, well let me just say that he is a top earner in the industry and that he has a no bullshit kinda of mentality. Which is why I probably like him so much myself. With that said, let’s move on to the point of this post…
Now many Internet Marketers are busy doing busy work and not productive work. What do I mean by busy work? Well basically it’s work that doesn’t make you money.
Think about what you do throughout your day on a daily basis for your network marketing or MLM business? Now think about how much of that activity does not ‘show you the money’?

Hmmmmm…Let me explain it a bit differently.

For Example:

- Idol chit chat with other Internet Marketers and friends on Facebook and Twitter

- Watching videos on YouTube (not training videos)

- Making inspirational and motivational posts on social media daily

These do NOT show you the money!

So what should you be doing to make more money in your business? Frank simplifies three things for you.
Frank Kern’s 3 Magic Bullets Of Money-Getting:

  1. Get More Customers
  2. Sell More Stuff To Existing Customers
  3. Increase Frequency Of Purchase

So how do you apply these 3 magic bullets in your business? Simple if you actually use some common sense and think about it for a second…

  • You get more customers and distributors
  • You help you team members get more customers and distributors (rinse and repeat)

You call the people on your optins or any other list you have on a daily basis. You are not a sales person, but a recruiter looking for serious people that are looking to make a change in the quality of their life. You tell people about any products or programs that you have that can help them or any products or programs that your friends may have that can help them. After all this is a network marketing business of people helping people and that is how you grow your team.

There is a saying that successful Internet Marketers say…
“If you help enough people get what they want, you will get what you want.”
Remember YOUR time is valuable, so spend it actually making money. If you would like a free copy of Frank Kern’s PDF click here.
